History of Foundation

Ajarn Charlie and Ajarn Cathy, along with their family, arrived in Thailand in 1986 with a vision to dedicate their lives to serving others. Upon their arrival, they established a training center aiming to develop leaders and improve the quality of life for trainees, equipping them with both knowledge and moral principles for daily living. Numerous individuals have passed through this training curriculum, resulting in improved lives and the empowerment to become leaders within their own communities.

As they became more immersed in Thai society, they witnessed the hardships faced by people in rural areas, where poverty was prevalent and development was scarce. Moved by these conditions, they expanded their mission by establishing a Children’s Home to aid orphans and underprivileged children. The home officially welcomed its first group of 22 children in 1994, with the goal of supporting their education and providing an environment conducive to their growth and development.

The mission continued to grow until 2003, when it was officially registered as the "Abundant Life Foundation," with Ajarn Karoon Suriyachaiphan serving as the Chairman of the Board.
